Caution - allergy
REMEMBER if it is the first time you are using henna paint or if you are using a new henna supplier you should always test a small patch on your skin (some suppliers add chemicals without declaration).
Take a small sample of your final mixture that you have prepared (either your henna hair dye or henna body paint). It is important to use your final sample as this includes everything you will be applying to your skin. Delute the mix with half water and apply it on a small patch on the backside of your forearm. Scrape it off when it is dry and wait 24 hours to make sure the skin does not react.
You may also want to consult your doctor. We can provide no guarantee that will you not react to your henna mixture and we are not liable for your use of Henna. We try to provide information on the safest and best use, however we acknowledge that peoples sensitivity and products differ. Thus, always proceed with caution.
You should especially avoid products that has been pre-mixed. There is always less risk if you purchase pure natural henna powder. It is greenish and comes ONLY in this color. Other colors have been processed and will often contain hazardous PPD (cancer and allergy provoking substance).
We hope you will proceed with caution and make the use of Henna paint a safe and fun experience to keep your hair shiny and for your temporary body art.
